Editorial Policy
How Meridian Post creates, reviews, and publishes original content.
Last updated: September 2026
Our approach
Meridian Post publishes 100% original content. Articles are written by our editorial team as explainers, guides, and analysis—not as rewrites of third-party news stories. We do not operate an RSS aggregation or automated news-rewriting pipeline.
Research and sourcing
Writers may use publicly available materials—government publications, academic research, official statistics, and institutional websites—to verify facts. When we reference external information, we describe it in our own words and cite sources where appropriate. We never copy article text, headlines, or photos from other news sites.
Accuracy & corrections
We aim for factual accuracy and clear distinction between explanation and opinion. If you find an error, contact us through our contact form. See our Corrections Policy.
Independence
Editorial content is not influenced by advertisers. Sponsored content, if ever used, would be clearly labeled and separate from editorial articles.
Content types
- Explainers — educational articles on how topics work
- Guides — practical advice for general readers (not professional counsel)
- Articles — contextual analysis on public affairs and culture
Technology
Meridian Post is a static site. Pages are generated from editorial content files at build time. See our AI & Automation Policy.
